SUPPORT / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Holding Secura

What is SecuraVault?

SecuraVault is a hardware wallet — a physical device designed to store your cryptocurrency private keys securely offline. It helps you protect your digital assets from hacking, phishing, or unauthorized access.

How does a hardware wallet work?

A hardware wallet stores your private keys in an isolated chip that never connects directly to the internet.

When you confirm a transaction, it is signed inside the device itself — ensuring your keys are never exposed online.

Can I buy, sell, or exchange crypto using SecuraVault?

No.

SecuraVault does not provide any buying, selling, trading, or exchange services.

It’s designed only to securely store and manage your private keys and confirm transactions through compatible wallet software.

Which cryptocurrencies are supported?

SecuraVault supports a wide range of major blockchain networks and assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and NFT storage, along with other compatible ERC-20 tokens.

Do I need an internet connection to use it?

No.

The device operates offline when generating and storing keys.

You’ll only connect it to a computer or mobile device when managing transactions, but your private keys never leave the device.

What happens if I lose my SecuraVault device?

During setup, you’ll be given a recovery phrase (a series of words).

As long as you keep that phrase safe and offline, you can restore access to your assets on a new SecuraVault device.

How do I set up my device?

Setup takes only a few minutes:

1. Connect your SecuraVault to a computer or phone.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet.

3. Write down and store your recovery phrase in a secure offline location.

4. Begin managing your assets safely.

Is the firmware open source?

Yes.

SecuraVault uses open-source firmware so that its code and security measures can be independently verified by the community — ensuring full transparency and trust.

Can someone hack my SecuraVault remotely?

No.

Because SecuraVault is offline by design, your keys are never exposed to the internet.

Even if your connected computer is compromised, your keys remain safe inside the hardware device.

Who is SecuraVault for?

SecuraVault is ideal for anyone who values privacy and control over their digital assets — from beginners learning about self-custody to advanced users securing large crypto portfolios.
